Things are getting pretty exciting with the graphic novel right about now. The other creators and I have dipped our collective toes into researching publishers. Thankfully we’re able to submit interest letters without the need for art. Finding the right (see: inexpensive and available) artist to do the interior pages has been a mountain I’ve yet to top.
On that subject, and if these meetings with publishers go well, the artist issue will be covered. The idea I had for a short story in high school so many years ago that’s now been penned as a graphic novel is inching its way to seeing publishing.
Stay tuned. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself here, so you'll have to tolerate my vague updates about this project.
